Posted by Marco at the Freedom Forum talking about the Democrats and Iraq.
They still support the war. Maybe a handful of elected where against going to war. Byrrd even said if there is no YES or no vote to declare war on Iraq then ...you might as well put a sign up that says Gone fishing....because thats what we are doing. The Dems have always supported this war and it had nothing to do with Bush likes. It had everything to do with their own lies...They took an oath to uphold and defend the United States Constitutionj. That was the first lie that was told in this war......

Posted By Clay Season, talking about American apathy: Regular American Joes don't even know what freedoms are. They gladly give away their current wealth and don't mind the gov't heaping debt upon them and their children as long as the gov't tells them they will protect them from today's boogey-man. Should all the "terrorists" be driven away, the gov't will invent a new boogey-man.

Posted by Me in The Freedom forum talking about Hugo Chavez: People like him don't fool me. Don't get me wrong, I think it's funny that Chavez bust's Dubya's balls, and Dubya deserves it what he gets. But I've read similar references to Hugo's possible drug trade ties that Hickock referenced. Chavez isn't very nice to his political opposition, even by our standards. Chavez is Dubya madeover, or Clinton except Chevez is a forthright socialist. I can't accept his socialist views either.
Another note: No one else in the world gives to blinks about what other people think when they see something they really want, so why should we? I ask question generically, not simply about Iraq, The Balkans, Grenada, Panama, and et cetera?

Posted by Me the The True Free Speech forum talking about the role of government: Since when is it America's place to insure the survival of the Sunni's?
Have you considered that the reason Republicans lost is that people don't want to be responsible for the Sunni's, Shi-ites, Kurds or whoever?
