This is what shoulda happened with Penn St: The NCAA should have axed the football for 14 years, the same time Joe Paterno and other School Officials enabled a pedophile to prey in the showers of Penn St. A friend of mine went further. He said they should have axed the whole athletics Dept for 14 years because Curley(AD at the time) also enabled a pedophile to roam the Penn St Halls. He brings up a valid point. What the NCAA did is acceptable, but more motivated by money and PR than the severity of what Sandusky did. Maybe this will close the book on this ugly and nasty episode.

I don't have a problem with what the NCAA did except yanking the games they've won in the past.
You can't erase history.
Bronislau "Bronko" Nagurski was a Canadian-born American football player. He was also a successful professional wrestler, recognized as a multiple-time world heavyweight champion. Nagurski turned professional to play for the Chicago Bears from 1930 to 1937. At 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) and 235 pounds (107 kg), he would have been a formidable presence in any era of the NFL, and in his day he was a dominant force in the league, helping the Bears win several division titles and two NFL championships.
