In his weekly Radio address Mr Bojangles repeated his call for higher taxes on the rich, cooperation, and fairness. It amazes me that the biscuit eaters use Mitt's tax rate to justify raising taxes on the rich. Let's look at this. Now Romney was paying that 15% rate on Mr Bojangles watch. Mr Bojangles and the biscuit eaters take to blaming Republicans. But that don't wash. Progressives had two years to impose their so called fairness. Centerists within the Democrat party wouldn't sacrifice their office for it though. So now progressives have renewed their effort for more money. They want to make sure people like Romney pay their "fair share". These progressives are either being a) stupid or B) Dishonest. Politicains and government love to encourage this and that. The main way the politicians encourage this and that is via the tax code. So people like Romney are still gonna have ways around income taxes. Worse people like you and me end up paying what taxes People like Romney can't avoid. Don't raise taxes on the rich, the low/middle class can't afford it. We badly need a flat tax.
Something else, I had a conversation earlier in the week with an individual who is outraged at what happened on the tarmac between Janet Brewer and Mr Bojangles. "This is the 1st president ever who's had to deal with such disrespect and hatred. The biggest factor there is such hatred and disrespect is because our President is black. This view is more common than people might think. I suspect this view is being planted to rally the black vote. However this view doesn't Wash either.
Bill Clinton was accused of being a murderer, drug smuggler, guilty of war crimes, a Red Chinese agent, and ect. Bush Jr was accused of mass murder, 911 conspirator, Crook, and ect. Reagan was accused of being senile, a drug smuggler, an arms dealer/smuggler and ect. Obamna is hardly the first President to have deal with such rhetoric. Finally Mr Bojangles isn't black. He's of mixed race. I don't get why Mr Bojangles doesn't embrace his mixed heritage. He'll embrace his black heritage. He'll even perform Al Green at the Apollo. Obama will embrace his white heritage, you know when he does his I know better than you condescending schtick. That's just weird. I wonder why Mr Bojangles virtually ignnores his mixed heritage? Even weirder, why do the race hustlers let him?
