The North Carolina Baptist Convention voted to expell Myers Park Baptist Church because MPBC accepts gay members. That's caused a firestorm up in Charlotte as both sides of the debate are pontificating full steam ahead(no pun intended). Personally speaking, it wouldn't bother me if an openly gay person were to join a church I belonged to. As long as a gay individual acts respectably, what's the big deal? I wonder how many closet gays attend church? We know quite a few become priests. Now if a guy comes to church in a dress, that's out of line. It boils down to basic respect. But that goes both ways. The Christianazis could learn alot about respect too.
