I agree. I'll take it further. She should have been put in jail after the first DUI. Most anyone who get's another DUI while thier license is suspended for the first DUI go to jail. Paris has Money, and money talks.

Paris is a very spoiled little girl, she needs to put on her big girl panties and deal with it. serve her time like a woman, not a bratty little girl. I guess there are somethings money can't buy....class. Jessie

The Hollywood crowd and the Politicos prove your statement right on an hourly basis.

I guess there are somethings money can't buy....class. Jessie Wow, great post! Those 9 words put it all out there, something the media can't do (too much sensationalism for them, they want to keep this thing on our tv's for as long as they can)!

Yes, Jessie sure stated that elequantly.
I also agree with your point about the media. I had thought the same thing myself. Not just about Paris case whatever irrelevant celebrity is screwing up thier life. Whether it's Anna Nicole and that situation, or Lindsey Lohan going to rehab again, it's as outfront as issues such as immigration and the iraq deal. But I can't throw stones, I've found myself talking about celebrities, both in forums and in real life.

Did you see on the news last night that Paris' parents got in right away to see Paris yesterday. Some people were standing in line for 4 hours. No wonder Paris thinks she's above the law when she has seen her parents get special treatment her entire life.
The media is not going to go away. I think it will be interesting to see if Paris really has changed her ways. Only time will tell.

Yes, I did see that. Not surprising at all. Your observation is right on the money. They think thier money makes them better than the rest of us. Too a degree, they're right, it does. Not all the time though, as paris being in the pokey illustrates.
The media isn't going away, true that. I generally ignore broadcast news and get my news online. The broadcast media can sensationalize whatever all they want. I won't know or care.
I doubt paris will change much if at all. What other kind of life does she know?

In Paris's world, excrement doesn't have odor, at least up to now. We have to have basic discipline in our lives because we can't buy our way out of trouble. People like Paris can buy thier way out of most everything. That results in a very distasteful display of arrogance when the rich and spoiled get a taste of reality like Paris is now.

Maybe the problem is her parents... I read that dear daddy Hilton is planning a "get out of jail" party for Paris in Las Vegas. Wasn't it the partying that got Paris into trouble in the first place? Maybe the apple doesn't fall far from the tree?

If Paris hadn't royally pissed off the Judge by disregarding the rules he set for her, she probably wouldn't be in jail. I don't think this Judge was impressed by Paris or her money.

Good points, and it is frustrating to see such contempt because Paris's drunking caught up with her.
