wtf: LMAO you might be rambling but I totally agree, we are far from perfect to demand anyone lives like us... I'm thinking the politicians need to visit the poor and middle class areas of america more often myself... I really don't think they have a clue!
No human is perfect.
I don't want politicians to visit, I want them to leave me alone.
You are right, politicians have no clue how we live or anything about our lives. But that not saying they should be in touch with us, or care about us. If government wasn't the all encompassing goliath it is, what politicians did would matter very little. That's what I'd like to see,

I agree with with.
I'll add that as a taxpayer, I don't want to be finacially responsible for keeping order in Iraq, Afghanistan, N Korea, Iran, Somolia, and ect and ect. I doubt anyone does. Then why does the political establishment seem so eager to assume the role of globe cop? And why does the majority of Americans, who don't want have to pay the taxes it's gonna take to fund this, re-elect those responsible? It boggles the mind.

LMAO

Let me offer this. From what I've seen in my 36 years, people aren't stupid. Groups of people are. I think all this grouping has worked to remove reason and logic from politics. Groups tend to be self obsessed, impulsive, irrational, insecure, and downright ignorant. That aspect is illustrated quite well in politics.

That's why socialism is such a bad idea. By nature we are individuals. We aren't very smart as groups. Look what happens when we act as groups. We get safety patrols, swingers, Democrats, Republicans, the KKK, Zionists, Nazis, Sandanistas, Mormons, Kathlicks, Mad Mooozzlims, overseas support personel, Mexicans, Dolphin Free Tuna, Campaign Finance Reform, and ect. We're individuals dammit! On another note, I'm missing smileys. Hmmmm, this must be investigated.
