this section needed a new thread. March was the last one. good grief.
Looks like Coach Wisenhunt is picking Kurt Warner as QB over Hollywood Matt Leinart. Leinart isn't doing as well as he did with USC. also interesting is that Matt only makes $750,000 this year and 1.1 next year. does that seem unreasonable low compared to other contracts? Warner makes 4 mil this year. Is AZ cheap? Just asking.

Bidwell is reknowned for a cheapskate.
You know, if any team is statistically due to have a good year, It's the Cardinals.
The Falcons are still stinging from the Vick Mess. It'll take a couple years to regroup from that. The Panthers starters have looked good.

Nevermind....ESPN had their facts wrong. No decision has been made as to whom the starting QB is in AZ. You' d think a sports cable channel would have all the right facts. and yes it is the Cardinals time for a good year. And Bidwell, I forgot about him. sorta explains it all right there. He doesn't really care if the Cardinals have a good year or not. He's making money either way, win or lose.

Well, Leinart has had a bad break with the injury. But the fact Leinart hasn't won the starting job by beating out Warner doesn't bode well with the notion of Arizona having a decent year. That's not a knock against Warner, more an observation of the Cardinal's personel choices.

Not sure if you are interested but in the latest TV Guide on Sept. 4th on National Geographic they are showing "Dogtown". Not sure what time. 4 of 22 dogs taken from Michael Vick are being profiled. the stories of the 4 dogs are heartbreaking. Not sure if the Falcons are going to feel the backlash of the program but I'm sure it's not going to help their situation.

It's died down alot. It'll be interesting to see how everyone reacts when Vick gets reinstated, and signed.

If I was a Falcon fan I'd have a hard time getting over it any time soon.
